Welcome to Reducio. By downloading, installing, or using the Reducio application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reducio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Reducio is a macOS application that provides tools for processing images, PDFs, videos, and audio files. All processing is performed locally on your device. The App includes:
- 33 media processing tools across four categories
- Local file processing without cloud uploads
- Subscription and lifetime purchase options for full access
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Reducio for personal or commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, or lend the App to third parties
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Pricing: Reducio offers Monthly ($1.99/month), Yearly ($9.99/year), and Lifetime ($24.99 one-time) purchase options.
Free Trial: Subscription plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without charge.
Billing: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the rights to process any files you use with the App
- Backing up your original files before processing
- Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws
- Maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID
6. Intellectual Property
Reducio and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Reducio and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the files you process using Reducio. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
We recommend keeping backups of your original files before processing.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REDUCIO OR ITS DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reducio and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Apple App Store Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, available at Apple's website.
